Our wallets took a small break for the Kirkland Signature review, but it looks like we’re jumping right back in to the pricey shakes with NutriiVeda. We have to admit, while we were skeptical of this product, it did much better than anticipated.
NutriiVeda is only sold as a meal replacement shake in a 22 oz tub. It gives 30 servings at the price of $99.99 or about $.3.33 per serving. We’ve seen worse but we’ve seen MUCH better. Your wallet’s going to take a hit for this product.
NutriiVeda touts a bunch of roots and herbs on its label and it’s hard to pin down which specific one they are claiming to do the job of blocking your hunger. Whatever it was, it worked pretty well. The shake was pretty filling, but it wasn’t a lasting full that we were hoping for. Didn’t quite take us to the next meal like we wanted.
This shake has an impressive looking nutrition label though mostly just 100% of vitamins A, B, and C we found it convincing enough to mark it up a few points. What we also liked was that this shake has only 130 Calories, 0 grams of fat, and only 5 grams of sugar per serving. Some of the highest good nutrients with the lowest amount of bad stuff that we’ve found on a shake.
We were not fans of the Chocolate flavor in the least. It’s weird because often times our staff unanimously agrees that they like the chocolate flavor better. Some commented on a very strange aftertaste. The Vanilla got more passable reviews in the long run but it wasn’t something we were too impressed with. They did a poor job covering up that “I’m drinking a bottle of flintstone’s vitamins” taste and the aftertaste was something we felt necessary to wash out with a toothbrush.
